Media Feature Pack has been updated to support Windows 10 May 2019 Update. Microsoft says the pack is for users running Windows 10 N, which is a specific Win10 version that comes without media tools. In other words, the Media Feature Pack provides media controls to Windows 10 N. Among the tools missing in Windows 10 N are Cortana, Windows Mixed Reality, and Windows Hello. Media Feature Pack adds these services and has been supported in Windows 10 version 1903 (May 2019 Update). “This update provides support of media features in Windows 10 N. These include media-related technologies (Windows Media Player) and certain preinstalled media applications, such as Groove, Movies & TV, Voice Recorder, and Skype. You have to install additional software from Microsoft to have this communication functionality stream music play or create audio CDs, media files, and video DVDs; and take and store pictures,” Microsoft says.

Installation

Users can install Media Feature Pack is available as an application like any other. However, once the app is installed you will have to reboot your system. The app contains all media services that will help make Windows 10 N more functional. Microsoft says users can get more from Media Feature Pack by downloading other services.
