If you are unfamiliar with iCloud, it is Apple’s file-sharing and storage platform. Think Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive but from Apple. It is hugely popular, partly because it is native on all Apple products across macOS and iOS. While users on those platforms can use other cloud storage/file-sharing services, iCloud works better with iPhones and other products. Of course, the service is also famous because of a major celebrity leak that happened in 2014. Either way, the syncing service is used by tens of millions of people but interestingly the web portal has never been that good.

Apple is aiming to make iCloud.com more usable. It seems the main way the company wants to achieve that is through a tile-based UI window. This basically looks like the widgets you get on iOS, so it will be familiar to iPhone and iPad users. Essentially, the windows/widgets provide a preview of the content held within a file or app. Tapping the plus (+) or minus (-) icon will add and remove items. The website is also getting a new look toolbar and new button placement. There is also a new home button of sorts, located at the top border. This provides access to the Feedback Assistant, an options button, a + button to add new content, and a Settings button to manage your Apple ID.
